The Challenge

Shed Repair is a family-owned business led by Jonathon, a dedicated craftsman with years of hands-on experience. His passion for high-quality work and honest customer service had earned the company a strong local reputation, but the brand lacked a clearly defined message that could be communicated consistently and needed videos to highlight their process and how they do repairs. 

Shed Repair needed more than just videos—they needed a story.

While their work spoke for itself, potential customers didn’t always understand what made Shed Repair different or why they should trust the team with their home projects. The company needed a way to clearly convey their values, connect emotionally with their ideal customers, and build a brand presence that felt as solid and reliable as their repairs.

Discovery and Story Development

We started our engagement by focusing on what matters most: understanding the heart of the business. We sat down with Jonathon and conducted an in-depth discovery session, using a comprehensive questionnaire designed to unpack both the personal and professional sides of the business.

Through this conversation, we gained a deep understanding of Jonathon’s story, the values that drive his family-owned operation, and the legacy he’s building through honest, reliable shed restoration work. Just as importantly, we identified Shed Repair’s ideal customer: homeowners who care about quality, want their investments to last, and are looking for someone they can trust to treat their property with care and respect.

Crafting the Message

With a clear understanding of both the brand and the customer, we crafted Shed Repair’s messaging using the StoryBrand methodology. 

Our goal was to ensure that every piece of content created would not only reflect the heart of the business but also speak directly to the people who needed their services the most.

Video Content Strategy and Production

Once the brand message was clear, we shifted our focus to content creation. Video was the centerpiece of our strategy, chosen for its power to connect with audiences on an emotional level and bring authenticity to the forefront.

We created a comprehensive video plan that included both short-form and long-form content to serve different platforms and purposes:

Every script was carefully written and revised to ensure we hit the right emotional and practical notes. We used a teleprompter during filming so that Jonathon could confidently deliver his message, staying natural and on-brand. We also captured behind-the-scenes footage, adding authenticity and transparency to the content while showing the care and effort that goes into each repair.
